Half Tutu: The design of the Dance First Half Tutu has been refined to a new level. Unlike most half tutus Dance First's Half Tutu's elasticised band is fitted inside and below the top net layer and thus is not visible and blends seamlessly with the leotard. Dance First's Half Tutu is manufacture in Australia with the highest quality Italian Lycra and European Net.

Full Tutu: Dance First's Full Ballet Tutu is a combination of the Half Tutu and a Tutu Leotard. As result of the unique design features of Dance First's Half Tutu its combination with our Tutu Leotards now replaces the full tutu for all our clients. Dance Firsts Tutu Leotard and Half Tutu combination is indistinguishable from the traditional full-tutu, and brings many additional benefits. Most significantly Dance First's Full Tutu fits and looks better on a broader range of body shapes.

Tutu Leotard: Dance First's Tutu Leotard can be purchased seperately and thus a dancer or studio could possess two or more tutu leotards to wear with a single half tutu. This can present significant flexibility and savings for the student or studio as the one half tutu can be worn with seperately sized and decorated leotards. Combined with different tutu overlays the tutu can look completely unique.

Adjustable Elasticised Skirt Band - Dance First’s Half Tutu has an adjustable elasicised skirt band that fits a broader range of hip measurements and can be adjusted to accommodate the growing child. This 1 inch wide elasticised band is fitted inside and below the top net layer and thus is not visible and blends seamlessly with the leotard. The positioning and proportioning of the tutu skirt is vital in the presentation of the ballerina. The Dance First Half Tutu and Tutu Leotard combination can be positioned to reflect the proportions of the individual dancer.

Traditional Stitching – Many larger dancewear manufacturers use seaming and stitching techniques that are more suitable for casual swimwear, and do not give the fit that is required for rigourous movement. Dance First dancewear is designed and manufactured to provide maximum stretch and confidence of fit.
