- Restless Dance Theatre
- The company was co-founded by Sally Chance and Tania Rose in 1991 following the MOC Connections project organised through Carclew Youth Arts Centre. Restless began as a project of Carclew Youth Arts Centre and remained housed at Carclew until 1995. The company was incorporated in 1996 and changed its name to Restless Dance Theatre in 2008
Our purpose is to collaboratively create professional calibre dance theatre with young people who predominantly have an intellectual disability
Our vision is to present unexpectedly real dance theatre works by youth and professional ensembles to local and national audiences
Our mission is to stretch artistically and develop wider markets for our work
Our goals for 2009-2011 are: to be acknowledged as creators of challenging dance theatre through collaborative processes of the highest quality to be a centre of excellence for disability ethos and practice
to expand our audiences and increase stakeholder engagement to boost our company’s development
